Update

My birthday was quite nice... I received lots of cards and some gifts from my colleagues... I also strolled around Cardiff (st. mary's and queens street). This is my first birthday away from home... I badly miss home though... I hope I can someday celebrate it with my loved ones next year...

Just Another Update of my life

Lately it's been boring... Thank God for NEWS which spiced up my life... with their new single Koi no Abo, which I think is their best single to date, my spirits are getting high... I so love the PV! Massu looked so hot and cute at the same time ^__^

I also got a tv in my room now and I just spent 29GBP for a scart adapter to get freeview channels but I still need to buy an aerial... I also have the internet by Sky broadband up and running now =D
I'm slowly settling down in this country... Thank God.

I also had a long video chat through Skype with my mom and dad. My Dad will be going to China tomorrow to visit his old father--- my grandad in Xiamen... I'm happy for him, hope everything goes well. I also found out my brother's been gone for the whole week! He's off partying in Bantayan Island with his friends... that guy can't really sit around in the house!

I've had a good day off today and it's back to work again tomorrow night... =(

I just made a terrible mistake at work... I know my manager's dissapointed or upset with me and all I can do is say sorry...
anyway I don't wanna remember bad things so I won't elaborate on this more...

and I barely had a day off...

The only good thing is, I shopped for a bit to compensate for the bad and stressful things in life...

I bought a black jacket with hood and a green shirt which were on sale at this shop in town called Internacionale, both for only 10 pounds...

So at least it's something that can make me happy... and Massu of course...

Tentative Plan

Ok I'm still unsure of my career path... But I've become really interested in dental nursing.

1. get a working visa after my student visa expires, move to london or kent, work for a year while studying a course in dental nursing part time. 2010-2011
2. be a dental nurse 2011-2012

Ok I'm off tonight... I just chatted with one of my best friends in life, karla... I really miss my friends back home. I wish we could do our regular hangouts like before. I'll really go back and we'll have a reunion once again next year =) Like we planned, it's gotta be a beach celebration... with elena getting married, karla and prescil graduating and me having a job... it's worth celebrating ne?
by the way here's a beautiful painting made by karla for her university's exhibit...

On another note, I'm trying my best here in this foreign land by myself. It's not really perfect here and I don't feel complete yet. I'm just glad to be doing something. Work is not perfect and the people around me are not perfect... but well I guess there's really no such thing as a perfect life. We'll have good and bad times, Meet good and not-so good people... Like there's this bossy woman at work who acts like a know-it-all (but we just ignore her). I only care about myself here anyway since my loved ones are back home...

Everything's costly here too so I really learned what it's like to budget your own money... It's a nice experience for me to grow up...

I can't wait to go back home and see my family and friends...

Update of Myself

I feel like blogging tonight... ever since I got here in the U.K, I halted my blogging habits because of the ff. factors: 1. I had no internet during my 1st 2 weeks here that I got depressed, got homesick, cried silently etc. but then God had mercy on me and I discovered this unlocked wi-fi from my neighbor in a certain spot in my room...Now I'm happy... 2. I'm not using a desktop nor a big enough laptop, but an asus notebook which is tiny and the keyboard makes you wanna type less... 3. I have work so I'm a little busy.

I'm happy with my job at the moment and I'm getting along well with my flatmate and co-workers. Everything's new and it really is a major life change for me but life is good here, I'm loving and enjoying my freedom and independence at the moment... Wish me luck!

01-22-09 I bonded with my closest and first pals in college, Jennifer, Farah and Joriza and treated them for Pizza @ Yellow Cab... The big news? Joriza already has a baby...OMEDETOU! babies are a blessing no matter what... and he's cute! XD

Girls Day Out

Yesterday (12.26.2008 ) I had a blast with my highschool best friends. For the first time in my life I drank hard liquor... I used to only drink red wine on rare occasions so that was a first to me. LOL. It was Elena's treat anyway ^__^. After drinking I have a "so-this-is-how-it-feels" kind of feeling *haha* Well, let me start from the beginning. First we met up at Ayala (near blue magic @ 10am) --"early ne? well, that's how we are, EARLY BIRDS. We usually meet like that for years so when we plan on meeting up Karla would just SMS us with this line: same time, same place. XD When I came, Elena and Karla were already there and Prescil was the last one to come, fussing over the taxi who doesn't have any change to her money. So I gave them the gifts--- a red silk robe for Elena(since she's getting married), a lamp for Karla and a desk clock for Prescil. I was on a tight budget as I used my parent's money to buy those gifts. If it was my own money I would've spent more. Anyways, I hope when they say they appreciate it, they were telling the truth. =) I'd give them much better gifts next time when I start earning my own okane. Which would be next year! *can't wait* So when Prescil came, Karla treated us to KFC (for her late b-day treat). YUm! KFC's Chicken never fails to satisfy me. Next we watched a local Filipino movie ("Shake, Rattle and Roll"). It's supposed to be a scary movie. The genre is horror. But we ended up giggling instead because it really wasn't scary at all. Try corny. After the movie, we ate sushi! *mecha oishii yo!* It costs P120 for a plate of mixed sushis. Ahhh nothing beats japanese cuisine. (^__^) *satisfied* Then we went for a drink... Elena treated us to alcoholic beverages at (i-forgot-what-the name-of-that-bar-was). If I remembered everything right, she ordered blow job, white and black russian and fruit punch. We took turns in tasting each drink. LOL. I was amused in drinking those drinks that I never imagined I could drink. I know I'll never be addicted to alcoholic beverages. But it's nice to try to be cool once in a while and get drunk. Err, luckily for a first timer, I didn't get drunk. They just told me my face was red after drinking. I felt slightly dizzy too but that was just for a second. Thank God my body's strong to alcohol. Our next stop was karaoke. We ended up at BTC's Pod5 KTV and we were so urusai belting our hearts out at karaoke. I was feeling like an R n B artist so I did the rapping to their amusement. XD. ( I wonder if my being crazy has something to do with the liquor I drank). Elena ordered a pitcher of Tequila, and 2 plates of Nachos. We were eating and drinking while singing and screaming our hearts out. Prescil was even kidding around, trying to hook me up with the waiter named Eric. LOL >.< We were so loud that even the attendants outside heard our singing. They were beaming at us as we paid the bill. XD Must have thought we were err... Crazy? haha. I know we wouldn't see each other in a long time since I'll be in the U.K for 2 years in a work and study program and Elena's moving to another town and get married. So we just went crazy all day. The Fun Day has finally come to an end. So we went home and parted ways and I reached home at around 8 30PM. It was the best hangout ever. I'm gonna remember that and carry those memories with me to the U.K. They will always be my friends. Love those girls... =)

Today, my cousin Richel and I met up and we went to church, then together with my 2 nieces (Moonyeen and Mica) , we went to SM to watch a local movie (My Only U). It was really hilarious that we watched it twice! LOL... Then we had dimsum for dinner and played bowling... Tanoshii!!!

It was a great day!

Random entry about yesterday

Yesterday my cousin Chona's daughters came for a visit, bringing lechon... (roasted pig) *oishii*
It came from their grandmother, Aunt merle...
I also showed them Tegoshi Yuya's ITTEQ shows that I downloaded since both of them find Tegoshi handsome.
We went to church together had lunch then rey came at around 2pm.
He's my tech support cousin ^_^
He said he'll help me reformat my virus prone pc tomorrow (which is actually today)

Bonding time with highschool pals

Yesterday, I met up with my high school buddies, Elena, Karla and Prescil. Elena is getting slimmer and sexier everytime we meet! ^^ and Karla still has the same cute kiddie kind of feeling.. Prescil seemed to lost some weight too!

Anyway... zannen... I don't have any pic of yesterday's hangout so I'll just blab about it here...

First we met at the usual place- Ayala mall, Blue Magic
I think it was Elena who first arrived followed by Karla, Me and Prescil.

Before continuing... I want to tell you that we were pigging out yesterday ^_^

We had burger, fries and coke float as lunch at Mc Donalds (talk about junk! hehe normally I prefer a real healthy meal but it's not bad too eat junk once in a while with friends)

Speaking of junk... yeah we ate junk all day @_@

We bought tickets to watch the movie: The Three Kingdoms and since there's still an hour left before it starts... We roamed around for a while, talked about old highschool memories... and some highschool classmates and schoolmates we recently ran into.

Elena was seriously looking for a possible drinking bar that would open in broad daylight...

Karla and I (who are the no smoking, no drinking type of girls) just supported them in looking for a drinking place.

But there was none... T_T---> both elena and prescil's expressions lol.

Anyways Karla was craving for something to eat again ... We bought popcorn before going in the theater.

Karla finished her popcorn in like, 15minutes! *CHEERS!*

I didn't finish mine... I'm about to burp from fullness. I kept them in my bag to bring it home =)

But the movie was cool! Though the ending was a bit dissapointing.

We roamed again and finally gave in to Karla's craving to eat again... (This girl's stomach can digest way too fast! lol but it's actually a cute side of her) I love people with a good appetite....

License and Crepes

yesterday mel, nik2 and I got our license at PRC... then we went to SM, strolled around and ate crepes...

Trip To Manila 10/2/08-10/4/08

It's my first time going to Manila and I was with my mom. We had a couple of bloopers at the airport as we don't often travel. I mean the last time I rode on a plane was in grade school. LOL. And the embarassing part is that I got an upset stomach on the plane and you can guess what happened- I dashed to the lavatory and ... I know I wasn't nervous that time. I love rides. what caused my upset stomach was probably air... yeah... we boarded on the earliest flight in the morning--- 4:30 am flight. Anyways, we stayed @ PBB hotel (Park Bed and Breakfast hotel) as recommended by the taxi driver since we didn't book ahead. It was a great place (not really the 5- star type but decent and cute enough to stay in) Then we roamed around Makati to look for the Visa Centre then went to Mall Of Asia... There was a problem with the manager's check so it was really a difficult day that day... i kept calling my dad to withdraw and deposit money... sigh... BDO needs cash to issue a manager's check as they don't accept cebu bdo accounts. well whatever, I'm glad it's over.
The next day I submitted the documents @ the visa centre (glad there's no problem anymore). Then my mom and I went to Manila Cathedral (with the help of a kind guy who directed us on what bus/jeep to take). Sigh... we were so lost! (tiring but fun). Manila is similar to Cebu and if you ask me, I wouldn't want to live there... It's so busy and the traffic is always heavy! If we kept taking a taxi wherever we went I doubt if we'd still have money left! Cebu is more peaceful though. I love Cebu! no place like home!... hehehe Manila is good if you only want to travel. We got back @ the hotel at around 6 or 7, and were very tired.
The next day we went back to MOA to buy a couple of stuff then we boarded the plane back home @ 5 30pm...
